A & L RV Sales, LLC has eight locations across four states and has an excellent opportunity for a General Manager at its Jackson, Tennessee location. The ideal candidate will lead by example with customers and associates, and foster a positive work environment where the team feels valued, motivated, and connected to their store leadership and the company's vision. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring overall performance, profitability, growth, and direction are meeting the strategic goals of a successful dealership.

Requirements

  • Meets with Managers to discuss issues, helping them improve management techniques.
  • Counsels all Managers regarding the handling of customer and public relations.
  • Responsible for weekly review and approval of employee time cards for payroll purposes.
  • Develops and motivates managers to attain maximum productivity.
  • Oversees cost-effective activities of the dealership.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with Managing Partners, managers, and vendors.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to plan, organize, staff appropriately, and lead with attention to detail.
  • Ability to use professional written and verbal communication skills for all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field required.
  • Five years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Office environment requiring prolonged sitting/standing and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as necessary.
