We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and become part of the Barometer family as we grow in multiple locations.

Job Description: As the General Manager of Barometer Waterfront Grill, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, financial performance, customer service, and ensuring a high standard of food and beverage quality. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a top dining destination and driving the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
    • Implement and maintain high standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
    • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of staff, including chefs, servers, and support staff.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee development.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by addressing customer concerns and feedback promptly.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Oversee reservations, special events, and VIP services to exceed guest expectations.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant exceeding $5 million.
    • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and staff management.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Google.
    • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
