- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Mentor and develop employees through training, performance appraisals, and recognition programs.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Oversee the financial performance of the plant, managing budgets and optimizing resources.
- Support corporate activities including quoting, costing, and procedure development.
- Customer & Supplier Relations:
- Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction and build strong, lasting partnerships.
- Strive to achieve customer awards and certifications (e.g., QS-9000) through exceptional service and quality.
- Strategic Management:
- Align plant activities with the business plan, setting and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Manage process technology to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Adapt and revise business objectives as necessary to meet evolving goals.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also valued.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of automotive general/plant management experience with extensive plastic injection molding and leadership experience.
- Minimum of ten years in a related role, preferably within the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Proven supervisory experience with a track record of leading large teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with exposure to mechanical operations.
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts.
- Must adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate attire to prevent interference with machinery.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme heat, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
