Job Summary:

As the General Manager (GM) of Calidad Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving operational success and overseeing growth across our core departments: GSOC Remote Guarding, Mobile Surveillance Units, Low Voltage Installations, and Physical Security. You will work closely with the company owners and department heads to solve key challenges, streamline operations, and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company's long-term goals.

Your primary responsibility will be to continuously assess and optimize department processes, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high performance. You will work hands-on with the leadership team to improve service delivery, manage client relationships, and drive innovation across the business. As a critical member of the executive leadership team, your insights and leadership will help shape the company's future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Remote Guarding, Mobile Surveillance Units, and Low Voltage Installations departments.
    • Ensure seamless integration of systems, technology, and processes across all departments to improve operational efficiencies.
    • Implement best practices to reduce costs and maximize profitability within each vertical.
    • Collaborate with the CEO to translate the company's vision into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes.
  • Team Management and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Align team objectives with company goals through effective leadership and communication.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to create and implement growth strategies, operational expansion, and revenue generation initiatives.
    • Oversee the execution of the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework to drive key initiatives forward across all departments.
    • Play a key role in long-term planning and decision-making as part of the executive leadership team.
  • Financial Performance and Profitability:
    • Manage the financial performance of each department, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing profitability.
    • Identify areas for cost optimization while maintaining or improving service quality.
    • Ensure all departments meet or exceed their financial and operational targets.
  • Technology and Systems Management:
    • Lead the integration and optimization of technology solutions, including camera systems, access control, and security software, ensuring top-tier operational performance.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to maintain Calidad Services' leadership in security technology solutions.
  • Low Voltage Installation & Mobile Surveillance Project Management:
    • Oversee all Low Voltage Installations and Mobile Surveillance Unit projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
    • Monitor and manage project performance, ensuring resource allocation, risk management, and client satisfaction.
  • Client and Vendor Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and partners to support business growth and operational excellence.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
    • Negotiate vendor agreements for cost-effective procurement and service contracts.
  • Executive Leadership and Committee Involvement:
    • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction and long-term success of the company.
    • Provide recommendations on operational performance, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate with other executives to ensure consistent execution of business objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of management experience, preferably in security operations, low-voltage installations, or related fields.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams, with a focus on fostering accountability, performance, and collaboration.
  • Operational Expertise: Experience in overseeing multiple departments, optimizing operations, and driving efficiencies through best practices and technology integration.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with security technology, including camera systems, access control, and monitoring software. Experience with VMS's and other industry software is a plus.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
