Job Title: General Manager, EV Operations
Primary Purpose:
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and
operational functions of the company. You will report directly to the President of the companies EV Charging division and will collaborate with other senior leaders and managers to enhance overall productivity, identify KPI's (Key Performance Indicators), increase efficiencies, set strategic goals and create best practices to increase overall profits and drive growth. You will be a resourceful problem solver with strong analytical, managerial, communication and leadership skills while being an inspiring leader who identifies and maximizes the talents and contributions of each team member.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term
objectives developed in tandem with the President, and the CEO.
• Collaborates with other executives, such as CEO, CFO, President and VP's to develop and
execute overall business strategies.
• Analyze current revenue streams, offerings and relationships and make recommendations for changes to optimize business growth.
• Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
• Develop and implement specific, identifiable, actionable, achievable and measurable business KPI's to ensure alignment with industry best practices and strategic goals.
• Actively participate in business development efforts and maintain relationships with industry associations, key clients, partners and subcontractors.
• Assess organizational structure and recommend changes for optimization and efficiency.
• Assess operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments within the organization,
including but not limited to Sales, Project Management, Program Management and Field Operations.
• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of ground-up EV Charging projects, ensuring
adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Recruit, manage, coordinate and unite members from various departments to achieve greater efficiencies and nurture a positive team culture.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability among team members and promotes a high-performance work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, or
a related field.
• 10+ years proven executive leadership experience with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and enhance productivity.
• Profound knowledge of EV charging station infrastructure projects, including in-depth
understanding of construction procedures, project management principles, EV charging products and regulations.
• Expertise in strategic planning, project management, and budget management.
• Strong work ethic, initiative-taking, meticulous, organized, effective time management skills, self-disciplined, honest, mature and possess sound business judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including aptitudes in listening, public speaking and effectively interacting with senior executives, members and customers.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in using computers, the internet and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, with the aptitude to learn other digital programs/applications.
