The Difference You Will Make:The General Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and enhancing the performance of The Goat bar and restaurant. The General Manager is responsible for leading sales efforts, controlling cost of goods, achieving set performance targets, making action plans, and building a team that maintains superior results.Who You Are:
  • In alignment to the brand framework, this role will focus on creating positive, memorable experiences for our customers, guests, residents and clients alike.
  • Provides support to team on day-to-day business functions with a focus around operational effectiveness of assigned location (budgeting, forecasting, sales, profit/loss); Monitors financial performance and implements strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Continuously pushes to meet financial objectives and drive to increase sales and customer base.
  • Acts as a key point of contact for leading and assisting with recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training staff in accordance with company best practices.
  • Guarantees customer satisfaction by ensuring staff delivers a safe, positive and memorable customer experience.
  • Ensures operations adhere to required regulations of all State Liquor laws.
  • Maintains high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Conducts regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health regulations and Green and Clean company standards.
  • Works with frontline staff and home office administration to ensure proper operating processes are followed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, guest relations, and administrative functions. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Works in partnership with the Home team to ensure resident satisfaction and engagement.
  • Displays proficiency in all operating systems, Restaurant 365, Kickfin, Cash Handling, Onboarding platforms, Upserve, 3rd Party Delivery Apps, Audio/Video, Lighting Controls.
What You'll Bring:
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role in the restaurant, bartending or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or similar area of focus preferred
  • ServSafe certification from a nationally recognized organization required
  • TABC Certification where applicable
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
