The facility has been a solid financial performer since its establishment in 1997. Here, we employ a multilingual workforce of 100 associates, over a 2 shift, 5 day per week schedule. Rockline is proud to be the leading producer of retail and commercial coffee filters in North America.

Here's how you will make an impact:
- Provide overall leadership for the Montville Operations, promoting RRITE principals throughout the organization. Set vision and strategic goals/objectives, align resources, and develop people. Establish and support objectives and drive improvement in key performance indicators.
- Develop and support a zero-incident safety culture - support the pursuit of zero injuries, zero health risk, and zero environmental impact.
- Promote product quality that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Ensure adherence to global quality and regulatory product quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture. Identify, evaluate, and implement manufacturing cost reduction. Support lean manufacturing concepts, tools, and techniques, and high-performance work systems. Maintain and promote the Rockline Operating System.
- Participate with R&D and Sales and Marketing in Business Teams to ensure plant profitability and effective utilization.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning activities to ensure we have the correct resources to meet manufacturing demands including capital and staffing. This includes managing staffing and daily/weekly plant activities to ensure we achieve targeted customer service levels.
- Recruit, train, and retain human talent to achieve corporate and site strategies. Develop and implement systems to support.
- Foster communication and cooperation with all business units and global company functions (Quality, Procurement, Sales, R&D, CSA's, etc.).
- Establish budgets and manage ongoing monthly operational expenses. Support annual expense and capital budgeting process.
- Participate in and/or support annual strategic planning cycle.
Required attributes:
- 10 years of manufacturing operations experience in progressive leadership positions.
- Proficiency in the following areas:
- Financial and capital budgeting and management.
- Strategic planning.
- Effective relationship management.
- Organizational design and development.
- Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Experience in the following is preferred:
- 3-5 years leadership of high-speed converting.
