Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have successful experience with steering high-performing teams who specialize in plastic injection molding for the medical device realm. As the General Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility while leading projects, collaborating with leadership and overseeing manufacturing operations and achieving the highest levels of productivity, quality and safety.

Customer demands can change quickly. Our General Manager must recognize and embrace these changes and be able to shift the resources available to them to successfully, quickly and safely meet the needs of our customers, thus ensuring the continued financial health and growth of the company.

In order to ensure the success of our customers and ultimately our company, the General Manager must be adept at building a cohesive and loyal Team by exhibiting trust in the entire team that has been entrusted to them to lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall operations of the plant
  • Build the external and internal customer focus by following the company culture and values
  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with Customers, vendors, clients and your team.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Executive Leadership on a regular basis to review and confirm that site sales and production forecasts, budgeting, customer expectations and growth goals are in line with Company objectives.
  • Leading regular meetings with all departments; Human Resources, Engineering, Production, Sales, Customer Management, etc.
  • Oversee Continuous Improvement, P&L, Safety, Company Culture, Cost Reduction and Productivity growth.
  • Hire and supervise your management team. Build a Team that has challenging, yet achievable goals for each department.
  • Drive Safety and Compliance with all OSHA and ISO Standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years of operations leadership in contract manufacturing
  • Experience with direct P&L responsibilities
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in plastic injection molding
  • Experience with price structuring & job costing
  • 10+ years leading teams that comply with OSHA, EPA, ISO regulations
  • Customer interaction and engagement
  • Presentations to Executive Leadership & Boards
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
