GM STEEL SERVICE CENTERMy client is seeking a General Manager at their steel service center facility located near New Haven, CT. This person will have overall responsibility for the division. They must develop a business plan each year, manage company assets, achieve forecasted operating results, and grow sales. This position reports to the Vice President.The GM will be a team-oriented individual who is assertive and goal-oriented, with a strong emphasis on an ability to work well in a team environment, develop and implement plans, and solve customer problems. Strong operations knowledge and the ability to sell at high levels of an organization to a diverse customer base is required.
