This position plans and executes the day-to-day operations of Lucky You, ensures workplace safety, and compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. The General Manager will set the priorities for production and scheduling, maintain the facility, conduct routine equipment maintenance and repairs, and implement cost control measures and reduce overhead.The General Manager directly supervises production, kitchen, accounting and shipping and inventory roles and serves as the main point of contact with company suppliers, all other employees, clients and government officials.This role ensures orders are fulfilled on time, on budget and meeting our high-quality specifications in a safe, clean facility with well managed inventory and well-trained employees that make Lucky You a great place to work and the partner of choice for our clients. Outcomes: InventoryCreate and maintain relationships with our suppliers for best outcomesOversee inventory levels to limit shortages, over-buys and marking inventory obsoleteWork with procurement manager to controls costs by timely ordering, comparing vendors and combining orders for volume discountsPlan inventory purchases for best pricing while balancing cash flowProductionProduction schedules created to meet deadlines for inventory, production line and kitchenSet hourly production goals & check with leads to ensure they are metCoordinate with company president on operational issues and promotional activitiesPlan and direct line sets and measure goal achievement for optimal efficiency, revising production lines when necessary to make production goals.EmployeesConduct 1:1's weekly with direct reports; Kitchen Lead, Production Line Leads, Shipping/Inventory and Accounting to hold each accountable for their performance goals and mentoring developmentProject hiring needs for production & post ads and hire/train for seasonal jobsTrain New Line EmployeesEnsure all employee certifications are current where legally requiredFacilities/EquipmentSchedule maintenance for the entire building and equipment for optimal clean & safe conditionsComputer systems, phones and software kept in good working order at all timesMinor equipment repairs when needed, research parts or service companies for special projects, including soliciting bids and evaluating best options.Point of contact for alarm company 24/7, provide approval to call police and meet law enforcement on premisesFacility is clean and organized and ‘inspection ready' at all timesProcessesEstablished, documented Standard Operating Procedures are followed to maintain checks and balances and quality assuranceNew methods implemented with care and only after thoughtful consideration of consequencesSuggest updates as neededEnsure Employee Handbook rules and standards are followedEnsure food products produced exactly to our recipesGifts are packed to meet our high quality standardsLegal ComplianceCompany business licenses, memberships and certifications current and in legal compliance at all timesEmployee certifications kept current at all timesAll laws are obeyedEducation/ExperienceBA in Business Administration or similar preferredFive years management work experience leading teams of 10 or more employees7 plus years' experience in project managementExperience with food safety and production lines a major plusSkill Summary:Project ManagementAbility to coach employees to develop top performing teamsProficient in Microsoft Office Software, with emphasis on ExcelAbility to anticipate, plan and manage workloads to meet project time framesProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to pro-actively problem-solveUnderstanding of financial documents to include Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheet &Cash FlowSpanish speaking or basic Spanish language skills a plusPCQI certified a plusPhysical RequirementsCan be physically demanding with occasionally lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to stand on your feet up to 8 hours per dayValid California driver license with clean driving recordStudent Loan Reimbursement $5,250 at 1 year anniversaryTuition reimbursement for continued professional growth3 weeks Personal Time OffHealth Insurance Reimbursement up to $500/MonthPaid holidaysSEP-IRA at year 3We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.#J-18808-Ljbffr
