The General Manager will lead the companys quality and operations initiatives along with managing and establishing KPIs, Standard Work and critical SOPs. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Lead Responsibilities

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including incoming materials, production processes, and finished goods.
  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality management systems.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.

Material Handling:

  • Manage and optimize material flow within the facility.
  • Implement efficient inventory control and management systems.
  • Reduce lead times and minimize inventory levels.

Lean Processes:

  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Identify and eliminate waste in processes and workflows.
  • Foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.

KPI and SOP Development:

  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality, operations, and material handling professionals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve goals.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations leadership role.
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Experience in a regulated industry.
