Adecco has partnered with an International construction company who's looking to hire a Full Time, Direct Hire General Manager in Houston, TX. This person will act in the capacity of a CEO for the Houston office and will work closely with the Mexico office. ***Bilingual Spanish Required
Objective of the Position: The GM will be responsible for establishing and leading the strategic vision of the Houston office. This individual will develop and implement plans for growth and expansion, ensuring the successful establishment of a profitable and independent operation. The CEO will build and lead a strong, motivated team while maintaining constant communication with the Mexico office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction of the Houston office, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Develop and implement growth and expansion plans, with a focus on achieving organic, long-term sustainable growth.
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance local team, fostering motivation and strong leadership at all levels.
- Maintain close, effective communication with the Mexico office to ensure joint decision-making and alignment on key operational and business initiatives.
- Establish and manage key client relationships, leveraging a deep understanding of the local social and cultural environment.
- Direct all operations to ensure profitability, independence, and scalability of the Houston office.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including project management, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Civil Engineering, with an MBA or similar graduate-level business degree.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the local construction industry, including leadership roles in management and operations.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction operations, project management, and business administration.
Languages: Fluent in English (native level) and Spanish (second language).
Work Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate business needs and international collaboration.
Proposed Salary Range: $180,000 to $240,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience.
