**Description**

Regal is seeking a General Manager for the UA Grant Plaza 9 movie theater in Philadelphia, PA.

**Summary:** The General Manager (GM) is a full-time salaried employee. The GM is the face of Regal and is responsible for the overall operation of the movie theatre. This includes proactively leading the theater team to ensure achievement of business goals in revenue, expense, profitability, guest satisfaction, inventory control, and employee morale as well as acting as a representative of Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

Responsibilities Include:

Controlling costs, including all direct operating expenses, purchasing and ordering concession and bar stock and any other supplies needed for daily operations, as well as the inventory and auditing processes involved in tracking those supplies.

Monitoring risk management as it pertains to the theatre, i.e., employee and guest safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, and the proper handling, reporting, and investigating of accidents.

Upholding and administering all Regal policies.

Supervising all staff positions, as well as hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and developing, and disciplining employees in accordance with company policies.

Responsible for guest relations, marketing and promotions of feature film engagements, scheduling of movie show times and the timely delivery of show times to all proper channels.

Responsible for ensuring that customer service is delivered with excellence and appropriately handling guest concerns.

Responsible for ensuring the best movie picture and sound quality.

Responsible for the overall cleanliness and safety of the building.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with two years college education in business or two years management experience. Applicants must be able to pass training programs and obtain food handling and alcohol service permits, if applicable.

Preferred applicants will have experience managing a movie theater, knowledge of movie projection and sound equipment, and possess the following professional skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication, excellent presentation skills.

Must be able to lead with confidence, yet be cooperative, perceptive, and situationally aware.

Ability to inspire and persuade others.

Ability to effectively solve problems, prioritize conflicting demands, and manage multiple tasks.

Ability to analyze, interpret, and make decisions based on business and financial data.
