Summary The General Manager of the Inland Processing Center will lead the entire operational spectrum to ensure seamless receiving, processing, maintenance, repair, and dispatch of vehicles across America. This role demands exceptional organizational skills to streamline operations across yard management, inspections, installations, body and warranty shops, warehousing, and distribution. The successful candidate will develop strong collaborative teams to drive performance excellence through stringent KPI management, high standards in operational efficiency, quality control, and financial outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Primary
    • Lead and drive strategic efforts to enhance operational efficiencies, optimize service delivery, project and maintain appropriate staffing levels, and meet financial objectives, including profit and loss (P&L) targets at the facility
    • Educate and inspire employees so that they understand their value and significance to the overall operation, fostering a sense of fulfillment and motivation as they work towards these objectives
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and strategies to support financial and production goals on a monthly and annual basis
    • Maintain a holistic understanding of the Inland Processing Center's operational model to promote overall sustainability and success
    • Utilize an in-depth understanding of cost and revenue structures to ensure all cost-generating activities are recoverable and properly invoiced
    • Lead initiatives to verify and improve cost recovery processes, ensuring compliance with established financial tracking and reporting standards
  • Secondary
    • Direct, oversee, and evaluate all daily operational activities to guarantee that staff operations align with production targets and goals
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to review and refine production plans, ensuring optimal vehicle output and adherence to quality standards
    • Coordinate with logistics and scheduling teams to assess and maximize vehicle storage capacity in line with vessel arrival schedules
    • Drive continuous improvements in vehicle processing enhancements to maintain and elevate quality and efficiency
  • Tertiary
    • Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes to build and retain a highly skilled and motivated workforce dedicated to achieving facility objectives
    • Monitor and assess the performance of employees and partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and carriers to support and sustain collaborative efforts in achieving shared goals

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • Experience in Vehicle Logistics and/or Port Operations Preferred
  • 7 - 10+ Years of Managerial Experience Required

  • Valid Driver's License Required
