WVU Medicine - United Hospital Center seeks a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join a hospital employed practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Duties: Successful candidates will monitor and document the health and development of children, diagnosing and treating common ailments and minor injuries and referring to specialists for appropriate care. Candidates will also admit and round on inpatients and newborn nursery and attend any emergent/high risk C-sections at the request of the OBGYN.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in General Pediatrics. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
