JOB TITLE: General Production - Loganville- Wolfgang Confectioners ROLE: This role is designed to produce and pack quality confections. This role will work on various candy making and packaging equipment and follow specific detailed instructions provided by the company. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:•Visually inspects product to assure compliance with quality standards and appearance.•Prepares necessary packaging supplies to keep lines running efficiently.•Place products into respective packaging according to specification.•Palletize finished product according to procedure and specification.•Use pallet jack to move finished product to staging area.•Follows all Wolfgang Food Safety, Quality, GMP and Sanitation policies and programs to assure product quality. •Complies with company and OSHA safety polices.•Cleans work area and machines at end the of shift or other designated time.•Makes necessary machine adjustments according to specifications.•Completes paperwork accurately, timely, and clearly. Includes but not limited to tote tags, Production Tally sheet, Lot Tracking Sheet, Packaging Verification Sheet, and Cleaning Checklist.•Assists co-workers with duties and works as a team for ultimate efficiency.•Refers all work-related problems including food safety and quality concerns to lead person/supervisor/manager.CORE COMPENTENCIES:•Analytical and Vigilant•Punctual•Willing Team Member•Effective/Clear Communicator• ACCOUNTABILITIES: •Safety, Food Safety, Quality•Daily Attendance•Meet team expectations.•Follow Production Processes PERFORMANCE MEASURES:•Accuracy on picking and inspecting requirements•Accuracy on packing requirements•Compliance and thoroughness on allergen cleans•Ability to follow company policies and procedures EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: •High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is desired. •Fundamental knowledge to follow directions.•Production/Manufacturing experience preferred•Ability to read, write, and communicate•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the documents.•Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints. REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor BASE LOCATION, TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Base location as assigned, possible need to work at other locations as needs require. DIRECT REPORTS AND INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS: Alignment of goals and direction - Machine Operators, Deacom SME's, Team LeadersCommunication with Material Handlers, Sanitation, and QA Techs SAFETY: Safety is a culture.
