Description:Shift is 7pm - 3:45am There are 2 Saturdays per month designated as “possible work Saturdays”. So far, they've only had one this year and it was a half-day. Daily overtime is called for by end of 2nd break (1:30) and can be up to 2 hours.$18/hr for 2nd shift ($17/hr with $1 shift diff) - $.50 increase once permTwo 10-minute paid breaks, one after 2 hours. Unpaid lunch break is 11pm-11:45pm. Two hours later is last 10-minute paid break. Not returning from lunch on time is an attendance point. If someone goes outside the plant for lunch (even the parking lot), they must clock in/out. Lunch will automatically be deducted from their time each week.1st day: 1st first day orientation starts at 9am. For temps, it will be about an hour because it's only safety orientation. Employee orientation will be done with them when they convert. They should report at 7pm either that Monday night or the following Tuesday night (they need to let us know what they will do). There is a $1.00 shift differential when they work the overnight shift (7pm-3:45am). Once they are on our payroll, they can qualify for the “Perfect Attendance” bonus on a weekly basis, which is getting an extra $1/hour for the hours worked that week as long as they do not leave early, report late, or miss a day. They also get $.50/hour increase every 90 days as long as they have been cooperative with learning more processes.Measuring performance - Based on Group Lead and Team Lead assessment and feedback if they can be converted early. Otherwise, conversion is automatic once they roll over to full time unless there have been attendance issues, in which case we may extend conversion.Growth opportunities: Team Lead, Group Lead, Technician, positions in other departments like Maintenance, Quality (Measurement Techs).Rehires can be considered but names will have to be confirmed before launching. Family members allowed, just not typically on the same line.PPE: Steel toe shoes are required for first day. DNUS provide goggles and cap. DNUS issues them a badge that is digitally activated and required to get entrance to the building. If they lose the badge, or do not return it upon termination, there is a $5 fee.
