GENERAL SUPERINTENDENTJOB SUMMARYWe're looking for someone with significant experience in the electrical field to provide management supervision and mentorship to our field workforce. You will manage manpower, ensure safety compliance, and assist with installation planning. Strong collaboration skills are essential as you'll be working with internal teams and clients to drive project success.
COMPENSATION- Total compensation $150,000+ depending on experience and license

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Provide supervision for all field activities, including assisting Field Managers in planning and executing scopes of work.
- Manage manpower resources and ensure compliance with all Knight Electric safety, quality, and productivity standards across all projects.
- Perform plan reviews and provide feedback on constructability, offer ideas for value engineering, and assist with installation planning and layout.
- Engage internal teams to facilitate the planning, design, and installation of prefabricated assemblies.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist project teams with material procurement, delivery schedules, and material staging plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish initial project goals and monitor progress on an ongoing basis to ensure success.
- Perform productivity analyses across all projects using the Knight Electric Productive Jobsite Program tools.
- Assist project teams with building and maintaining CPM schedules as well as short-term look-ahead schedules and ensure that activities are consistently completed within prescribed durations.
- Constantly evaluate performance of all field personnel; assess training needs and ensure that all training objectives are met.
- Monitor man hours at the task level and provide guidance to Field Managers to ensure that scopes of work are completed within the budgeted hours.
- Collaborate with clients field leadership teams as needed to ensure successful execution of projects and to resolve any project-specific challenges.
- Monitor overall company backlog and maintain appropriate workforce levels accordingly.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Journeyman or Masters License
- Minimum (10) years in the electrical field
- Minimum (5) years in a Superintendent role
- Management of $10+ Million scopes of work
- OSHA 30 Certification
- NFPA 70E Arc Flash Certification
- Proficient usage and enhancements in Microsoft Office suite and PDF software.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelors degree or completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
- Commercial electrical experience in both new construction and remodel.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish)
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS- Ability to pass a background check.
- Clean driving record
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manages field level personnel.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKFull-time, typical working hours 8am -5pm Monday - Friday, with off-hour work as required.

TRAVELTravel is estimated to be at 75% - 90%, and at times on short notice and nationwide.
