Description
Responsibilities of a Lead Multifamily Construction Superintendent are:
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and site personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and address any financial discrepancies.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates, progress reports, and forecasts to senior management and clients.
Profile
The Successful Lead Multifamily Construction Superintendent will have:
- 10+ years of ground up Commercial project experience
- Degree in Construction Management or related industry degree preferred
- Proficient in CMiC, Bluebeam, MS Office, Primavera 6
- OSHA 30 Certification, First Aid Certification, Stormwater Management Cert
