Position Summary Performs numerous manual duties to produce quality products in accordance with Company requirements. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to pack at a specified sustained rate for the shift. Cartons must be packed straight and neat. Product packed incorrectly will be considered unacceptable. Conducts a quick inspection of the product before the product leaves their assigned stage in the manufacturing process to ensure it meets product specifications. Will rotate positions every 30 minutes. Keep a sanitary workstation. Employee must be able to follow all GMP regulations. Stock line with packaging materials as needed. Relieve personnel as needed. Position Qualifications Must be able to tolerate a cold environment of 40 degrees. Must be able to lift, bend and reach in place. Must be able to count. Must have good hand and eye coordination. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the work environment, plants, or offices. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Lifting requirements are up to 75 lbs. Exposure to loud industrial-type environments is commonly found in plants. Varied temperatures from hot and humid to very cold.
