Position will perform a wide variety of general building maintenance and facility support functions which will include:
  • Installation of miscellaneous office furnishings; assembly/disassembly of office cubicle systems;
  • Assemble various types of office equipment and furniture; repair/install window treatments;
  • Assemble new equipment; and move furniture and office equipment to relocate offices; power wash buildings and structures;
  • Install/repair campus road signs.
Position is an essential position and will be required to report to work during periods of adverse weather and may be required to report for duty during emergency callback conditions and assigned on-call rotation. About the DHHS Office of Property & Construction: The Division of Property and Construction provides maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds services for the Dorothea Dix Campus which consists of 35 buildings totally 944,700 square feet of building space on 326 acres and provides basic maintenance and grounds services for the Governor Morehead School which has 31 buildings totaling 291,000 square feet of building space. Management preference will be given to candidates with:
