This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). There are two vacancies for this position. This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 820 S Boylan Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603. This position is assigned to the General Trades Shop within DHHS - Facility Maintenance on the Dorothea Dix Campus in Raleigh NC. This position will perform facility support functions which will include: installation of office furnishings; assembly of office cubicle systems; and move furniture and office equipment to relocate offices; power wash buildings and structures. Install/repair campus road signs. This is an essential position and will be required to report to work during periods of adverse weather and may be required to report for duty during emergency callback conditions and assigned on-call rotation. Assist with special event set-ups. Management preferences (if applicable): Management prefers a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in general facility maintenance working as a repair technician or similar position maintaining and repairing facility equipment and furnishing, including moving, assembling and relocating office furniture and equipment.
