Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities including loading and unloading trucks from trade shows, assembling structures, preparing materials, testing lighting, and tracking inventory such as giveaways used at the trade shows. You will also maintain a list of any broken or missing parts that need to be reordered. Additionally, you will be packaging signs and readying them for shipment, using hand and power tools to build crates for shipping. Collaboration with the marketing department to prepare and receive items for trade shows will be essential.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tamarac, Florida.

Work Environment

No A/C warehouse in Tamarac, FL. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment and will require heavy lifting (greater than 30 pounds), ability to carry 50 lbs. for 100 feet unassisted, and machinery operation requiring safety PPE such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility with the ability to stand for 8 hours per day. Proper coordination and motor skills are needed to work with power/hand tools, ERP Software, Label Machines, MRP software, scales, and printers. PPE required includes steel-toe boots.
