We are currently seeking a early career, self-motivated Geologist for our Syracuse, NY office. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the performance of a wide range of multidisciplinary projects that include remedial investigations, site characterizations, third-party construction oversight, remedial design support under both State and Federal Programs.
Required discipline/skills include familiarity with environmental and civil engineering practices related to site characterization and remediation. Candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills; willingness to travel upto 60% and ability/interest in proposal development. Ideal candidate should have a B.S. degree in Environmental Science and/or related discipline with 3-5 years of experience in the environmental industry. Experience with state and federal environmental regulations, environmental field sampling procedures and protocols, analytical data evaluation, summary, and management. Preferred 40-hr. OSHA certified.
