The Geriatrics & Palliative Care physician will:

  • Provide clinical care and oversee the education of residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Provide quality care to both inpatients and outpatients for adults 18-65 and older adults age 65+
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making skills, both clinical and administrative
  • Serve as staff attending for sub-specialty consult service as assigned
  • Systematically evaluate patient care programs in all Medicine venues
  • Develop the initial plan of care and update plan as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Identify acute/non-acute/chronic health problems
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with occasional on-call assignments

Preferred Experience:

Board certified/board eligible in geriatric medicine and/or palliative care

Experience working in a nursing-home type facility

Experience working in palliative care
