Details Client NameFinger Lakes Health Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyMS Job ID30113198 Job TitleGGH RN Float Pool FT D/N Weekly Pay$2182.0 Shift Details ShiftDNR - 12X3 - 07,19 Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date01/20/2025 End Date04/19/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: RN Float Pool Job Specialty: Med/Surg, Critical Care, Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night rotation (7 AM-7 PM/7 PM-7 AM), including every other weekend and holiday rotations, plus four on-call shifts per four weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum two years of experience in floating to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- Basic Coronary Care within six months of hire- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire Must-Have: - Comfort and experience in floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and Telemetry- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion- Professional and courteous manner- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities- Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills- Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office products, and electronic medical records Job Description: - Participate in day/night shift rotations, including every other weekend and holiday rotations- Cross-train to work in critical care, Med/Surg, and Telemetry units- Ensure compliance with required certifications via the RQI system during clinical orientation- Preferred certification by the Emergency Nurses Association and TNCC within two years of hire- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups- Interpret and assess data reflective of patients' status to identify and meet patients' needs- Foster a healing environment by promoting safety, dignity, respect, and well-being through professional behavior and effective communication.
