We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our clients outpatient gastroenterology practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a specialized field, providing care for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinalconditions. Our client is a leading outpatient gastroenterology practice dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies. Perform and assist with procedures related to gastroenterology, under the supervision of a physician as needed. Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in gastroenterology. Requirements: Active and unrestricted NP or PA license, valid in NY. Interest in gastroenterology and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. _Please note- The annual base salary range is $110k to $160k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
