ECU Health Medical Center has achieved Magnet® designation twice and provides acute and intermediate care, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to more than 1.4 million people.Position Summary The Gifts Processor assists with the management of daily operational duties for the Foundation. The position is responsible for maintaining data integrity and security, communicating information with key internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with the financial accounting of the organization. This individual is also responsible for maintaining proper internal controls as it relates to the custody of financial assets. This position requires an individual who is highly detail oriented who can manage and maintain data structures within highly detailed policies and procedures.Responsibilities Maintains proficiency in query and reports; as well as using knowledge of the system to research complex questions.Assists with record management activities including deduplication and data enrichment.Maintain confidentiality of physical and electronic records, including data security compliance of credit card information and protected health information (PHI).Maintain clear and accurate documents and records for reference purposes.Provide guidance and direction to internal teams to achieve performance targets.Assist with operational duties for community hospital events.Other duties as assigned.Responsible for data entry and integrity of donor accounts, contact records and fundraising opportunities.Ensures all cash, checks and mail are handled in accordance with internal control policies.Responsible for importing gift disbursements and donor updates.Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure reliable data standards.Manage recurring giving plans in merchant service, payroll platforms and CRM.Assist with monthly reconciliation of CRM and ERP systems.Train team members and volunteers to perform tasks in the CRM and merchant services environments.Oversee depositing process of all cash and checks.Assist with annual financial audit.Prepares contemporaneous tax acknowledgements in response to receipt of donations.Assist with preparation of annual tax summaries to donors.Communicates updates to donor profiles to key stakeholders inside organization.Collaborates with management to execute strategic operational goals.Build and maintain strong donor relationships through communication.Coordinates with the Manager, Donor Relations for periodic updates to donor letters.Minimum Requirements Minimum of two-year degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field or higher is required.Bachelor's degree preferred.1 - 3 years professional office environment experience is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel is required.Experience working in databases, CRM, or Salesforce preferred.General Statement It is the goal of ECU Health and its entities to employ the most qualified individual who best matches the requirements for the vacant position.Offers of employment are subject to successful completion of all pre-employment screenings, which may include an occupational health screening, criminal record check, education, reference, and licensure verification.We value diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
