QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in IT Technologies, Geography or a related field; or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field and four (4) additional years of related experience.
- Four (4) years of experience in GIS systems and processes or related software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains the city's Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS).
- Supports city staff performing GIS-related activities across the enterprise.
- Manages, administers, publishes ESRI Web apps, Datasets, Imagery, StoryMaps, Dashboards, Portal and Data stores.
- Ensures application security management for assigned applications in conjunction with the network Infrastructure group.
- Administers servers/systems in designated area or application(s), i.e., ESRI ArcGIS, Cartegraph.
- Writes additional documentation where required.
- Works closely with user departments on cross-functional process improvement teams. Develops business and system flow charts and related procedures and system documentation.
