What You Will Do:

Provide support to the IEC Environmental Restoration GIS Lead in the preparation of maps and figures for inclusion in reports, plans, and other regulatory deliverables; assist in the development and maintenance of maps and GIS project data sets,and performing GIS system maintenance and editing tasks.

What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Four-year degree in GIS, geospatial technologies, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience using GIS in a professional setting.
  • Proficient in producing maps in Arc GIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro
  • Experience using a wide variety of GIS software tools
  • Experience editing GIS data with a high degree of accuracy
  • Special Requirements/Training (Optional):
  • Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Skills and experience with cartographic design
  • Understanding of coordinate systems
  • Ability to identify problems and work in a team environment to find solutions
  • Able to work with established workflows and manage multiple tasks
  • Use and knowledge of GPS and field surveying

Benefits and Salary:

  • $36-60/ hr
