GlaziersWe are currently seeking experienced Glaziers for a customer in Kent that specializes in the design, fabrication, assembly and installation of custom curtain walls and glass entrances for commercial application.In this position you will be working with an experienced staff to install glass in windows, doors, skylights, storefronts, and building fronts that have been custom designed and built.Shift:
- Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Pay:
- $25.00 - $30.00/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Install prefabricated glass and custom curtain walls and metal structural components
- Install metal frameworks for windows, doors, storefronts and glass entrances to be fitted with glass panels, using hand tools
- Install glass doors and windows for glass entrances and storefronts.
- Cut, fit, install, repair, or replace glass or glass substitutes, such as plastic or aluminum.
- Perform specialty glazing- bullet resistant glass and glazing, slope glazing, marine glazing, and structural
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications to determine work requirements, installation procedures, staging or materials required.
- Assist in fabrication of parts or components
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial glazing experience preferred
- Experience installing curtain walls, glass entrances and storefronts required
- Knowledge of specific procedures and components for glass storefronts required
- Some fabrication experience preferred, carpentry experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
