Job Purpose

The Global Account Director will be responsible for all aspects of a Global Account, serving as the liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met. Ensures all account-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customers contract while meeting expected financial goals.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

  • Accomplish Account Management Objectives by communicating customer expectations; monitoring and follow through of assignments and expectations; and maintaining complete customer satisfaction.
  • Provide complete and accurate quotations to the customer without any omissions, on time, and with communicated lead times.
  • Organize the preparation and completion of Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews for the customer.
  • Manage Business Development activities with program managers and operations personnel.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast for all qualified products.
  • Ensure that cross-functional team(s) understand customer expectations at all times.
  • Manage and update all business agreements with the customer.
  • Maintain good customer relationships to avoid escalations.
  • Drive effective meetings with both internal and external teams.
  • Timely resolution of issues and escalation as soon as required to avoid delays in order completion.
  • Obtain and update customer roadmaps for all strategic products with the customer.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a Strategic Account Plan.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree at minimum.
  • Technical/engineering degree or 5-10 years experience working with mechanical drawings and assemblies.
  • Experience in reading and understanding assembly/equipment BOM's and Cost Models.
  • Contract MGF/Enclosure/Sheet metal sales experience strongly recommended.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain proactive customer interaction at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail skills.
  • Experienced user of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

    Salary Range (annual): $180,000 - $210,000
