For more information, please visit Summer of Position: The Global Alliance Director for Salesforce is responsible for developing and managing Virtusa's strategic partnerships with Salesforce to drive mutual growth and success. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to align partnership strategies with business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy with Salesforce to achieve business goals.
- Drive field engagement to generate partner-sourced deals and support co-sell motions, connecting Virtusa sellers with their Salesforce counterparts at joint target accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Salesforce.
- Develop joint go-to-market programs and drive collaborative efforts.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the alliance, including metrics and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce partner programs to maintain partnership tier.
- Stay current with Salesforce product developments and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
- Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise within the partnership.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall experience in the IT services or software industries, with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in alliance management, business development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships, preferably with Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, products, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and report on partnership performance.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Travel as required.
