Objectives of this Role
Barnes is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative compensation professional to join our Total Rewards Team as a Global Compensation Analyst. This candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and administering the day-to-day operations of the organization's compensation programs. This position is responsible for supporting the data gathering, analysis, and delivery of global compensation structures and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation management and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the administration of the Company's global compensation programs and cycles (e.g., annual salary planning, short-term, sales, special, and long-term incentive plans) by maintaining all data eligibility files, leading Compensation Management system configuration, creating process trainings and communications, liaising with HR teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution, and preparing reports and analysis for Senior Leadership
- Complete annual external salary surveys
- Conduct salary analyses, job evaluations and competitive market pay comparisons to identify trends and make compensation recommendations
- Lead day-to-day administration and quarterly reporting requirements for the organization's global Rewards & Recognition Program
- Maintain department's SharePoint site with compensation reference materials and library of global job descriptions and job codes
- Complete data audits and support data integrity processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HRIS system
- Support Manager, Global Compensation with ad hoc compensation analyses and projects
- Support monthly compensation departmental invoice reconciliation and processing
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of compensation administration experience
- Experience working in a global and multi-site organization
- Working knowledge of job grading structures and compensation strategies, familiarity with various types of incentive programs
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills
- Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to develop innovative compensation solutions
- Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; Experience with HRIS system reporting and Compensation Management tool (UKG Pro, HRSoft experience a plus)
- Must be discrete and maintain the highest confidentiality with extremely sensitive data
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
