Job Description:

unifyCX is looking for an experienced and strategic Global Director of Procurement to lead procurement operations across our multinational locations.

What Will You Do?

This key leadership role will be responsible for creating and implementing global procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. The Director will work cross-functionally with teams in the US, the Philippines, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Jamaica, and Colombia to align purchasing activities with business objectives and streamline processes across all

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Design and lead the global procurement strategy to align with unifyCX's strategic goals, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability across all locations.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure service quality, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Cost Optimization and Budget Management: Oversee and drive cost-saving initiatives, balancing quality with efficiency. Manage and optimize budgets and control procurement spending in alignment with company objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and regional leaders to integrate procurement activities and ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Sourcing and Contract Negotiation: Lead sourcing efforts for high-impact categories, negotiate favorable terms, and assess new sourcing opportunities to enhance service delivery.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use procurement data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Develop and implement procurement policies to ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and risk management across all regions.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, geographically distributed procurement team to support unifyCX's growth objectives.

Who Are You?

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in procurement or supply chain management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing procurement functions across multiple countries, ideally within the BPO or a multinational setting.

Skills and Competencies:

· Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

· Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

· Proficiency in procurement software and analytics tools.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team across diverse cultural backgrounds.

· In-depth knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in procurement.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English, with additional languages a plus.
