About the Role: The Global Events Coordinator is responsible for strategy, planning, organization, execution and budget tracking of all Aviat in-person tradeshows, conferences, seminars, roadshows and online events on a global basis. The candidate will also ensure that all events are tightly integrated with Aviat Demand- and Lead-Generation campaigns, objectives and KPI's.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, manage and execute all aspects of Aviat Networks events including tradeshows, seminars, conferences, roadshows and customer webinars on a global basis. This includes but is not limited to:
* Manage vendor relationships;
* Coordinate detailed events logistics, orders and payments;
* Securing event locations, selecting convention booth space;
* Managing booth exhibit design, theme and graphics creative needs for banners, backdrops, etc;
* Arranging for audiovisual requirements;
* Coordinating invitations, online and social media promotions;
* Coordinating catering and giveaways;
* Shipping event materials, and other arrangements as necessary.
* Manage operational planning for key events, including reviews meetings, pre- and post-event reports, booth schedules, show guides and lead/prospect goals and objectives.
* Coordinate with the Manager, Lead Management to collect, sort and report all leads from events, webinars and roadshows. Create summary management reports as required.
* Manage in-house or contract help for organization of smaller regional events.
* Provide support and coordination of internal online events, such as Sales Connect webinar training sessions, as required.
* Manage events budgets to annual plan. Negotiate contracts with venues and vendors to meet business needs and keep costs within budget.
* Other assigned Marketing duties as required by business needs.
* Some travel will be required to attend events within the United States/Canada.
Qualifications & Competencies:
* University/college qualification to bachelor's degree level.
* Previous marketing experience in a B2B environment is preferred.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and directions.
* Able to diplomatically handle challenging situations and internal/external stakeholders, including vendor relationships.
* Strong listening and written communication skills.
* Engaged, motivated and success driven.
* This job requires flexibility to occasionally work outside of typical business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as it relates to the need of the job.
* This job may include the moving, handling, and/or carrying of heavy materials up to 40 pounds.
