We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Engineer to join our Water team within the Global Facilities Engineering department. In this critical role, you will contribute significantly to the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of specialized Facilities systems across our global Semiconductor Manufacturing sites, focusing on Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Systems. Key Responsibilities Technical Support, Leadership, and Expertise
  • Serve as the Technical Field Domain Expert, providing expert consultation and support to Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams.
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Technology Development, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop, review, and maintain global standards, specifications, and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to ensure engineering excellence.
  • Promote standardization and alignment across the global network for engineering concepts, project execution, reliability programs, and operations practices.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance system designs, boosting performance, efficiency, reducing maintenance needs, and lowering costs.
  • Benchmark against industry leaders and internal practices to capture best practices for Facilities systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability practices.
Design and Construction Project Support
  • Support Design teams in the engineering of large-scale Facilities Infrastructure Expansion projects.
  • Ensure design compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Develop and refine system design concepts for deployment.
  • Facilitate communication among local Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design packages, providing detailed feedback to ensure project success.
  • Assist with cost and schedule estimates and justifications for project approvals.
  • Provide engineering expertise during construction, as required.
  • Lead capacity assessments and validate utilization assumptions across the network.
  • Review and advise on scope, schedule, and cost estimates for Facilities infrastructure projects.
Global Initiatives Program Support
  • Lead Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives, including defining program objectives, roadmaps, and high-level implementation plans.
  • Drive Sustainability Programs in alignment with Corporate Sustainability goals.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial Systems Engineering required.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the Semiconductor and/or Facilities-related industry.
  • Technical expertise in Facilities and Semiconductor Water Systems, including UPW Systems, WWT Systems, Incoming Water Systems, Potable Water Systems, Reclaim Water Systems, LSR Systems, hazardous dosing chemicals, High Purity UPW and Piping, and UPW & WWT Distribution Systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems.
  • Ability to travel internationally 25-40% on average, with potential peaks up to 50-66% during critical project phases or site activities.
