Hartmann Young is proud to partner with a global leader specialising in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of medical diagnostic solutions.

We are seeking a Global Group Product Manager to play a central role in driving the strategic direction of the diagnostic product lines. This high-impact role involves managing a team of five Product Managers while steering global marketing initiatives. Youll work across departments and international teams to deliver solutions that support hospitals, laboratories, university hospitals, and reference laboratories worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive marketing programs for assigned product lines.
  • Define and execute upstream marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with downstream marketing efforts.
  • Assess training needs and implement initiatives to build team expertise and effectiveness.
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, unmet customer needs, and opportunities for new products.
  • Stay informed on industry advancements, regulations, and trends in the medical diagnostics field, particularly in hemostasis and autoimmunity.
  • Ensure all product lines meet regulatory requirements and uphold the companys standards of quality and innovation.
  • Work closely with R&D, QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial Operations to support product development and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate on the creation of technical publications, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials to support product launches and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • A BA degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent field, is required. An MBA is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, and/or sales management.
  • Practical knowledge of Hemostasis or Critical Care in relation to diagnostic product lines is highly preferred.
  • A background in upstream marketing or product management is highly advantageous. Experience working in laboratories will also be considered a plus.
