Global Head of Macquarie Asset Management Equities and Multi-Assets Technology

As Macquarie Asset Management grows, technology plays an important role in bringing together its operations to provide innovative services to its clients. You will partner with the Equities and Multi-Assets Management, Portfolio Managers, and Traders to drive these outcomes.

What role will you play?

You will develop senior relationships to gain and utilize a deep understanding of the business wins to transform current business models with innovative technology solutions. Expect to become a valued partner by anticipating and proposing alternative solutions to help the business extend their reach. You will lead global DevOps teams to provide end-to-end design, delivery, and operation of applications and solutions.

What you offer

You should:

Have significantly demonstrated hands-on experience managing and developing technology solutions for multiple internal clients and be able to articulate complex technical problems and their solutions simply.

Have a track record of driving digitalization, automation, and data adoption with business partners, and be entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and self-directed with a strong delivery mindset.

Be passionate about building and leading high-performing delivery teams and proposing and achieving successful outcomes for a significant asset management business.

Be adept at engaging, collaborating, and influencing people at all levels and areas of financial services organizations, with experience in program and delivery management, including budgets and forecasts.

Excel in collaborating across global teams, navigating time zones effectively, and have the flexibility to prioritize your time and travel.

Have previous front office asset management experience; Blackrock Aladdin experience is desirable.

Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; good technical architecture experience is beneficial.
