Our client is a publicly-traded broker-dealer with a global presence.
The Global Head of Sanctions will be the SME and primary point of contact for anything sanctions-related across both the Americas and EMEA regions.
This role is hybrid and is based in New York. The role will oversee a team of 2-3 individuals.
Role / Requirements:
- Possession of 5-7+ years of sanctions experience with deep familiarity with US and EMEA sanctions laws, rules and regulations
- Deep familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) laws, rules and regulations
- Keep atuned to changes in the sanctions landscape globally
- Build, develop and maintain sanctions policies and framework as it pertains to the Americas and EMEA regions
- Improve screening methodologies by developing policies and procedures
- Oversee and maintain the Sanctions database
- Administer annual company-wide sanctions trainings
- Ensure the firm's regulatory adherence to regulatory bodies including the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA and other applicable regulators

$200,00-250,000 base + bonus
