- The company's Supply Chain Group is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager. Under the direction of the Indirect Supply Chain Director, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the development of strategic sourcing plans including supplier identification and selection, negotiation and closing of global high-value long-term agreements, supplier relationship management, supplier partnership and development as well as general contractual suppliers. The ability to effectively manage relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders throughout the process is critical.
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the company's salary range for this position in the given work location. - This role can be a remote role located within Central or Eastern time-zones.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Lead the execution of the strategic sourcing process including the cross-functional development of the strategy, supplier identification and selection, detailed spend analytics and market analysis, and negotiations of long-term agreements for the IT and Telecom categories across Operating Groups and sites both regionally and globally.
- Influence decision-making at all levels and support various business stakeholders and suppliers driving results in alignment with the strategy.
- Conduct global market research to identify potential new suppliers with the goal of identifying sources of supply based on competitiveness, capability, and business needs.
- Execute RFQs for designated categories to determine supplier capabilities, risks, pricing, and services focusing on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Develop channels of supply and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving optimal TCO, continuous improvements and project savings opportunities, and mitigation of supply chain risks.
- Demonstrate excellent global negotiations and contract development skills combined with the demonstrated expert knowledge of procurement and contractual law. Lead contract award notification(s) and contract development, confirming that negotiated outcomes are properly reflected in final contract language.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree preferred in Business Administration Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading global enterprise-wide IT Strategic Sourcing and negotiations.
- Ability to work well with others and on cross-functional teams, self-motivated/directed, and driven to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both internally and externally, with customers and suppliers
- Strong analytical abilities to understand and facilitate complex supply chain decision making.
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of contractual requirements, business systems, and processes.
- Desired qualifications would include Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, additional education, and a master's degree in business.
