Salary Range:FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. Your areas of responsibility:The Key Account Manager is responsible for Specialty Key Accounts in the Medical Field. The Key Account Manager proactively manages the business with selected key accounts and commits to increase sales to these accounts and new accounts. Further-more, the Key Account Manager:
- Proactively develops business opportunities with existing and, especially, new key accounts.
- Operates in a global network to support local Key Account Managers and to establish excellent contacts with the key accounts.
- Coordinates the business of key accounts globally as interface between the key account and the FUCHS stakeholders
- Sets prices and negotiates terms and conditions.
- Represents customer interests towards FUCHS and vice versa.
- Develops alternative Service Concepts and Value Propositions for assigned Key Accounts.
- Cooperates closely with Product Management to ensure that the customer is fully informed about the products and its tech-nical requirements.
Travel
- Approximately 40% travel primarily within the U.S. and Europe in addition to Canada and Mexico
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years' working experience in a similar sales and key account management position.
- Technical knowledge of medical device applications and pharmaceuticals.
- Experience with lubricants/specialty chemicals is a plus.
- Proven experience in initiating, managing, and closing sales processes.
- Track record of securing new accounts and relating with new customers.
- Proficiency in use of MS-Office applications and CRM (Salesforce desired).
