About the Role: The Global Marketing Manager, Promotions helps support and drive brand strategy with the Senior Manager, Global Brand Marketing to create long term brand equity, maximize growth potential and drive long term brand profitability. This role will help guide the brand, ensuring consistency and continuity across multiple consumer touchpoints. Cross functional collaboration will be required to conduct thorough analysis, make recommendations and execute on strategic projects, such as kit development, sampling strategy & promotional strategy. This role requires a balance of strong analytical skills and creativity to bring projects to life. Promotional Strategy: 60%

  • Own promotional strategy, development & execution for overall brand and trade-specific programs including GWP, swag, promotional sets/bundles and sampling vehicles, field team collateral
  • Support exclusive programs that capitalize on key commercial and consumer equity moments
  • Own the collateral strategy, development and execution across the professional and retail channels
  • Ensure the collateral serves the business needs by working closely with trade teams, while also partnering with the creative team to ensure brand consistency
  • Partner with the Sales, eComm, Trade, EDU & Integrated Mktg teams on various strategies and activations, such as promotional and distribution strategy, forecasting, planning and reporting
Market & Competitive Insights: 20%
  • Support brand planning initiatives, including market research, segmentation & competitive analysis to differentiate our service and products in the market. Provide insights and direction to support campaign & asset development
  • Help develop channel and messaging strategies to reach key customer segments. Understand and drive the consumer journey specific to the category
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of culture & the competitive environment at all times (globally), demonstrating a firm grasp on the evolving landscape and activity to inform planning and execution
Measurement & Analysis: 20%
  • Support the Senior Manager, Global Brand & Marketing Strategy and cross-functional teams in post evaluation and analysis of activities. Support development and implementation of best practices and processes across all consumer touch points
  • Support post-mortem analysis of specific / dedicated brand campaigns and promotional programs with cross-channel partners
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ongoing
  • Effectively communicate plans, objectives, and results to key stakeholders at all levels
  • Work with Trade Marketing, Education, PR, Digital, Social Media & Sales team to provide recommendations rooted in competitor analysis and best practice
  • Work closely with teams to help develop and implement processes to improve cross functional collaboration, cooperation and efficiencies
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • 6+years of relative experience in brand management, or product development; wIthin beauty industry a plus
  • Experience in both global (upstream marketing) and local (downstream marketing) teams
  • Experience managing budgets, analyzing financial data, making data-driven decisions
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel or G-Suite platforms
  • Strong project management skills and understanding of how to deliver against the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Analytical/strategic thinker and creative problem-solver; resourceful
  • Creative thinker who, using insights and data, can frame and solve problems in new ways and bring new marketing initiatives to the table
  • Strategic thinker who can develop strategy frameworks & solutions that are highly actionable
  • Self-starter & highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within an entrepreneurial & team-oriented environment, thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, great presenter, dynamic speaker, ability to influence across many layers of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership and can handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
  • Must have strong attention to detail, excellence in execution, with a roll-up-your-sleeves and get it done mentality

Our Total Rewards: The annual base pay for this position is $86,700-$117,300 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
