Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Social Media and Data Officer for our Global Network Programs team to coordinate the development of our website, graphic design, social media presence, and data-driven strategies. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in shaping our online presence and enhancing business growth through creative and data-driven approaches. The officer will provide general support for public outreach and EF network communications, including research and administrative, with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:

Social Media

  • Maintain brand consistency across all design materials and digital platforms.
  • Research and identify relevant media targets and maintain global media lists.
  • Manage and execute social media campaigns of EF programs and Fellows across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Assist with the creation of monthly and campaign-focused monitoring reports on media coverage and social media analytics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of EF engagement strategies, social media and community cultivation, helping to develop and grow EF's online community and assisting in managing those relationships across social media channels.
  • Staff public events and assist with live social media coverage of events, when appropriate.

Data Science

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance business operations and marketing efforts, including our work to track and measure program impact evaluation.

Website Management

· Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company website, ensuring a seamless user experience (UX) and mobile responsiveness.

· Collaborate with web developers to implement new features and ensure the site is aligned with business goals and marketing strategies.

· Work closely with staff to optimize and regularly update content on EF websites; to include drafting/editing web pages, newsletter articles, e-mail blasts and other content.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Flexible, resourceful and creative with an ability to embrace ambiguity
  • Strong writing, editing skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Advanced ability working with Microsoft and Google programs. Familiarity with Canva, Salesforce and WordPress Elementor.
  • Knowledge and interest in global affairs and a deep affinity with EF's mission.
