Job Description: Core Duties - Perform payroll system administration and maintenance, set up and changes in Workday and integrated systems
- Lead multi country payroll process, payroll system sourcing, implementation, 3rd party system integration, and acquisitions
- Perform manipulation of large amounts of data
- Create standard, ad hoc, and custom reports as requested to meet the needs of the organization.
- (Workday reporting experience preferred)
- Analyze, document and update processes with functions to increase efficiency and reduce duplication of work
- Conduct system training for payroll team members and employees
- Gain understanding of all payroll processes in 13 countries
- Provides operational, administrative, technical and analytical support necessary to global payroll
- Serve as cross-functional liaison between payroll and other departments such as Accounting and Tax
- Recommend process improvements and innovative solutions
- Coordinate and assist with external/internal audits
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college in Business Administration or Accounting. (6-7 years of experience in leu of degree)
- Payroll/3rd party system implementation and integration
- Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Vlookups, XLookups and other formulas
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while navigating ambiguity and remaining agile
- Possess high critical thinking and analytical skills
- In office San Antonio, TX based role
Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual
- Minimum 5 years of in-house corporate payroll experience
- Workday HCM/Payroll processing experience (Workday Pro Certification a plus)
- Global payroll experience (Europe preferred)
- Work an earlier schedule to accommodate Europe time zone
