Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely payment of payroll expenses and taxes. This role requires a deep understanding of global payroll processes, compliance, and a proactive approach to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across various countries.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the operational and strategic aspects of the company's global payroll function to ensure timely and accurate payroll processingDevelop, implement, and modify payroll policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with the company's standards and objectives, and ensure compliance with legal requirementsCoordinate with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to ensure seamless payroll integration and compliance with changing labor laws, tax regulations, and corporate policiesManage payroll vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are metManage the payroll budget, ensure cost-effectiveness, and implement payroll best practicesProvide guidance and leadership to the payroll team, develop their skills and knowledge, and ensure the team's continuous professional growthWork closely with payroll vendors and service providers to ensure reliable service and build strategic relationshipsRespond to escalated payroll-related issues and queries in a professional and timely mannerEnsure confidentiality and secure processing of sensitive employee dataProvide expertise and guidance on payroll-related mattersContinuously assess and improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracyImplement automation solutions where possible to streamline workflows and reduce manual errorsConduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and complianceRespond to employee inquiries related to payroll issues promptly and professionallyFoster a positive and collaborative team cultureQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field; additional certifications in payroll or related areas are a plusProven experience as a Director of Payroll, preferably within a global organizationDeep knowledge of multi-country payroll processing, tax regulations, and withholding proceduresExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh Proficiency in payroll software and related technologies.
