We are adding a Principal Sales Training & Education Specialist into Global Training & Education Team supporting the Aortic Business located in Santa Rosa, CA. The training function and modalities have evolved beyond the wall of a classroom and procedural simulation, blended learning and remote learning play a key role in new hire and tenured field employees training and development.
We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing individual capable of managing various project initiatives and schedules in relation to the Aortic Training Curriculum for our field personnel. This role offers a nice blend of working independently but also within teams comprised of subject matter experts, franchise managers and external vendors. You will be empowered to organize, execute and enhance internal field employees training programs, analyze training effectiveness and manage field communications pertaining to programs, online resources, credentialing. If you have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, you are passionate about teaching and coaching, love taking initiative, have digital savviness and attention to detail - this is the role for you!
Availability to travel up to 30% in the initial phase and 20% once relations with KOLs are established.
* Manage Global Simulation Program & Training
* Support New Hires on-boarding by delivery individual and group training & coaching
* Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product & therapy simulation training programs for field
* Manage and coordinate logistics of training activities during major conferences and MedEd events by assuring proper staffing and resources availability
* Obtains information needed to prepare training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content, determines methodology and coordinates the development & approval of training aids and proper delivery ( synchronous/ asynchronous)
* Manage & control activities of simulator vendor, including implementation of new software, hardware and continuous quality improvement
* Ensures training program(s) meets company objectives and provide training metrics and KPI
* Maintains communication with internal customers (GSEs and Sales Leadership) to ensure effectiveness of training.
* Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to data

Must Have: Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume:
* Bachelor's degree
* 7+ years' experience in a sales training, marketing, field support role in the healthcare industry (5 years with advanced degree)
* Project and/or program management experience
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to coordinate multiple events and logistics
NNice to Have (Desired & Preferred Qualifications):
* Experience coordinating sales training and professional customer programs
* Medical or nursing or scientific educational background is preferred
* Understanding of cardio-vascular diseases and the practice of caring for Cardiovascular patients
* Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$120,800.00 - $181,200.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
