Apple's Global Business Solution (GBS) organization operates four regional global solution centers around the world in Singapore; Shanghai, China; Cork, Ireland and Austin, Texas. As Apple continues to grow its global presence in new and existing markets, the GBS organization is also growing to better manage and operate the regional sites and drive global coordination. Apple is looking to hire a Global Process Manager (GPM) supporting the Record-to-Report (R2R) function. The GPM is a key member of the R2R Global Process Organization (GPO) and is responsible for leading a high performing team of Global Process Analysts (GPAs) to drive continuous operational improvement and the implementation of effective finance system solutions. The R2R GPO team is responsible for defining the vision and strategic roadmap for the R2R organization, including global standardization, optimization of process and systems and developing a governance framework for rock-solid compliance and meaningful reporting.
**Description**
- Leads team of Global Process Analysts to support implementation of finance and non-finance projects and process initiatives impacting GBS - Proactively communicates with R2R managers on project and process initiatives, handling critical issues as needed - Works closely with all Apple business partners including Apple Retail, Online Store, Internet Services, AppleCare, Operations, IS&T and other organizations in order to drive critical projects on time, and on budget while meeting key GBS business requirements - Leads and support efforts to standardize project support globally - Owns an R2R subpillar and partners with global ROMS to drive subpillar strategy and prioritize related process and project roadmap - Develops people to ensure the team members continues to grow and develop as individuals and as a group - Identifies and drives towards implementation of globally consistent R2R processes/procedures, policies and systems - Demonstrates technical and analytical abilities with a desire for driving operational improvements and system automation
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 7 years professional experience in Accounting and Finance functions
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
**Key Qualifications**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 10 years of experience, with management experience
+ CPA/Qualified Accountant designation, Lean Six Sigma certification and SAP experience highly preferred
+ In depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, general ledger and technical accounting
+ Strong understanding of end-to-end R2R processes from an operational and SAP system perspective
+ Experience in managing a team of finance professionals in an evolving, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment
+ Experience leading sophisticated projects and developing business requirements from inception to deployment
+ Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
+ Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively across the organization and with external partners
