The Position Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc. seeks a Global Process Specialist in its Indianapolis, Indiana location. Within global pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company, deliver high quality insights to the global finance organization supporting Functions such as Global Operations and Quality and Regulatory, designed to drive value and outcomes through deep understanding of finance and business realities. Support development of Functions like Global Operations and Quality and Regulatory delivery, roadmap, strategic direction and decision making. Support the financial core processes of planning, reporting and headcount management. Ensure planning, reporting, and other financial processes for efficient resource management such as capital expenditure (CAPEX), cost center spend, headcount, among other financial processes. Ensure reliable, compliant and effective end to end processes for the global Finance Diagnostics Operations (FDO) organization. Ensuring compliance with accounting, ICFR (Internal control over financial reporting) and FGA (Financial Group Accounting) guidelines (e.g. for monthly statements). Ensure consistency across the Functions supported by the FDO Organization, while recognizing and adapting to the different needs. Position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel (fully-reimbursed). Position allows telecommuting up to 3 days per week. Education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience as Financial Controller or Finance Business Partner in medical diagnostics industry Alternative education and experience required: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field and 3 years as Financial Controller or Finance Business Partner in medical diagnostics industry Special Requirements: Employer requires 3 years of experience with each of the following:

  • ERP systems (SAP, DIS, and TM1), including use of financial reports IFRS
  • Accounting concepts and financial statement analysis including experience in supporting month-end close activities and preparing monthly financial management reports
  • Translating spend into P&L and balance sheet impact, modeling financial impact, leading financial reviews/storytelling
  • Business partnering
  • TM1, Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Tableau dashboard, and Google Suite
  • Application of IFRS along with internal financial controls
  • Knowledge of Pharma and Diagnostics Industries and Operations
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Indiana is $129,675 to $178,500 per year. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
