Here, your impact will:Provide end-to-end leadership across the 3rd Party Manufacturing and Hard Goods supply chainHelp define and lead the department strategy to ensure business continuity, resilience, and value creationIdentify and accelerate savings with strategic supplier partnersDrive out complexity by optimizing spend, growth and innovation with strategic suppliersCollaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities that drive cost reduction, working capital improvement, risk reduction, efficiency, and overall best in classEstablish and manage critical supply relationships that provide access to leading technologies and capabilitiesNegotiate and establish effective vendor contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to high quality and best in class serviceCreate solutions for complex and multi-faceted problems, which requires ingenuity, creativity, innovation, and strong analytical skillsInterpret industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to define objectives and KPIs for 3rd Party Manufacturing and HardgoodsDrive profitability through innovation and partnership with internal and external stakeholdersManage change through effective project goal definition, scenario planning, data analysis, action tracking, and stakeholder alignmentApply knowledge of different techniques and practices to achieve desired resultsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTen (10) years of Global Sourcing experience in a private, public, government or military environmentFour (4) years of leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in business administration, engineering or logistics and supply chain management from an accredited institutionStrong network and global experience with world class suppliers and contract manufacturersProfessional engineering experience is an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills, and collaboration across teams, functions, and organizationWork location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 20%, domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
